Why families choose us

The attention of a nanny, the fun of a group.

A real home, not a classroom

Cozy rooms, a kitchen table for meals and a backyard to play in. Kids settle in faster somewhere that feels familiar.

Small group, big attention

Big centres can have 15 or more kids in a room. In our small group, your child gets one-on-one moments all day long.

Home-cooked meals

A hot lunch and two snacks every day, cooked fresh in the home. Tell us about allergies and preferences and we'll plan around them.

Games and play

Board games, building blocks, puzzles, pretend play and dress-up. Plenty of time for the kind of play kids love most.

Learning every day

Letters, numbers, colours and shapes for younger kids, and homework help for school-age kids. Lots of reading together.

Arts, music and outdoors

Painting, crafts and singing indoors, plus outdoor play every day in the backyard or at a Findlay Creek park.

A day at Olive Tree

A steady rhythm kids can count on.

Kids thrive when they know what comes next. Every day follows the same simple shape, with room for each child's pace.

Questions

Parents often ask.

What happens when my child is sick?

Please keep your child home with a fever, vomiting or diarrhea, and for 24 hours after it ends. This keeps the other children and the caregiver healthy.

Are you closed on holidays?

We close on Ontario statutory holidays and for a short break each year. You'll get the full closure calendar when you enrol.

Do you take part-time children?

We focus on full-time care so the group stays steady. Ask us, since part-time spots sometimes open up.

Do you take school-age kids?

Yes. Children in school come before and after school, and spend full days with us on PD days, school holidays and in the summer.

What do I need to bring?

A change of clothes, outdoor gear for the season, and a comfort item for nap time.
